Love Alarm (2019) Summary
Cellphone app Love Alarm is created. If someone likes you and they are within 10 meters of you, the alarm for the app rings. The app also shows how many people like you, but the app doesn't reveal specific details on who likes you. Kim Jo Jo is a high school student. She is pretty and smart. She seems like a cheerful person, but her parents died when she was young. Since the death of her parents, Kim Jo Jo has lived with aunt's family. Living there is not easy for Kim Jo Jo. She doesn't download the app as her phone isn’t new enough. Meanwhile, Hwang Sun Oh is a popular male student at the same high school where Kim Jo Jo attends. He is the son of a wealthy family, but he is not loved by his parents. His best friend Lee Hye Yeong also attends the same high school. Hwang Sun Oh notices that his best friend Lee Hye Yeong likes Kim Jo Jo. Hwang Sun Oh wants to know if his friend really likes her, so he kisses her.

My experience/ Love Alarm (2019) drama Review
It's a wonderful sensation to fall in love with someone. When you see someone you care about, your brain releases the neurotransmitters dopamine and oxytocin, which make you happy. When you're with your lover, dopamine increases your mood and oxytocin offers you a sense of security. It's almost as if you're taking a medicine that activates your pleasure centres. Nothing makes you happier than knowing that your crush reciprocates your feelings, but you won't know unless you ask them, and what if you don't have the guts to do so? What if someone told you there was a way to detect if someone cared about you? Or to find out if your sweetheart is interested in you?
Love Alarm is the answer to all of your problems. Love Alarm is a revolutionary device designed by an anonymous high school student that tells you if someone in your 10 metre radius is in love with you, but only if both of you have downloaded the Love Alarm app to your phone. With the Love Alarm app, you can read your heart and share it with people nearby. If you like someone, their alarm will go off, and if they like you, your alarm will go off. It's a fantastic app, but if you don't want to share your feelings with others, don't download it.
Kim Jojo is a high school student who is dating Il Sik, but she has no idea if they are in love until she downloads Love Alarm. Hwang Sun Oh is a transfer student and a model for a well-known company, and when he first arrives at school, he is captivated by Jojo. Reason number one is that she is different from other girls in that she does not pay him much attention, and his alarm, which has been ringing since he arrived at school, did not ring around her. Reason number two is that his best friend Lee Hye yeong is also interested in her, which piques his curiosity even more.
Although there is no technical explanation for how Love Alarm works, the setup of the episode makes it appear quite plausible. One aspect of the presentation that I particularly like was the heart-shaped cloud announcements produced by the app during the show; they were quite lovely.
In a world where technology, rather than simply assisting people, has begun to infiltrate personal space, Love alarm is a novel concept that makes you wish it were true (but only if you're in love with someone); otherwise, it's a nuisance. The online series is based on Chon Kye Young's webtoon of the same name. It's a Korean online series with only 8 episodes, but a second season is on the way.
Kim So Hyun is a well-known Korean actress who has been in numerous dramas and is well-known for her playing abilities. Both actors are attractive, and the love triangle leaves you wondering who Jojo will choose. Hye Yeong(with expressive eyes) or the affluent, brat, snooty, and arrogant Sun Oh(did I forget to mention Handsome and Hot?). This drama's OST is really relaxing, and the best part is that it is in English. This series has an English voiceover and is accessible on Netflix (along with Korean off course). Love Alarm is a light-hearted story about a romantic love triangle of high school students that you may binge watch.
There is a love alarm app in the playstore as well, but it does not work in the same way as the series. It was created by the show's creators as a promotional tool.
